BRANDON’S HOUSE PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

NEW BEGINNINGS

This Program is dedicated to my children, which is why I wrote the book that this Program is partially based on.  But mostly this Program was created for people struggling to put life together.  I know if you follow this advice you will gain knowledge that will help you rebuild your life.

“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove…but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”

Forest E. Witcraft

What do you really want and how do you want to live your life?

After an unexpected detour that took me deep into self-analysis, this was the question I asked myself that led to change.  Even if later in your life you stop to ask yourself this, late is better than never.  We let the routines, responsibilities and struggles of life get in the way and put our dreams, our passions, ourselves on hold or forget about them altogether.  Don’t…don’t do that.

“I was finally ready for good things to happen for me. Before, I was just a survivor of bad things. Even though my life prior to that moment had been spent in survival, something deep inside kept telling me that my history didn’t have to by my destiny.  I knew I had it in me to defeat the past, change, grow and recreate life my way”

SECTION 1:  YOU FIRST

Attitude

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company…a church…a home. The remarkable thing is you have the choice every day regarding the attitude you will embrace for that day. You cannot change your past…you cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. You cannot change the inevitable. The only thing you can do is play on the one string you have and that is your attitude…I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And, so it is with you…you are in charge of your attitude”
