One of the hardest things to do in life is to walk away from someone you love or care about.  This could be someone you hoped would become a significant part of your life, or someone who is a part of your life but the relationship is empty and stagnant.

No matter how much you may love or care about someone, if they are mistreating you, don’t love you, and don’t consider you to be an important part of their life, then the only choice is to walk away for your own well-being.

The longer you stay, the longer the pain.  The sooner you leave, the sooner you will find someone who does love and care about you and wants you in their life.

If that person is a family member, keep them at a distance because the principal is the same.

No one deserves to live with someone who brings them down.
